Mini-Home Lottery tickets going fast.
Delta Hospital Foundation fundraiser proving to be popular – even the real estate market for really “downsized” homes is hot. According to the Delta Hospital Foundation, tickets for its Mini-Home Lottery fundraiser are going quickly. Launched during May Days at the end of last month, about 10 per cent of the tickets were sold in just five days. The Mini-Home is a 60-square-foot building that comes with all the amenities of a real home. It has impressive two-storey loft style architecture, has electrical outlets, will be awarded fully furnished and professionally decorated and comes with free
delivery-within reason. “Delta residents have embraced all that makes this prize truly unique. They’ve come together as
a community to support their hospital just as the people who designed, built and supplied the creation of the (Mini-Home) barn have done. This is reflected in the strong pace of ticket sales and we are thrilled,” said Teresa Cooper, executive director, Delta Hospital Foundation. The Mini-Home Lottery farm-themed activity centre has found its temporary home at the front entrance of the Delta Hospital. It will also be available for viewing at the Ladner Village Market beginning
Sunday, June 12, 2011 through to ticket sale sell-out.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchase by phone at 604-940-9695 or at one of three official ticket outlets throughout Delta: Delta Hospital Foundation or Dogwood Gift Shop, 5800 Mountain View Blvd.; Delta Carpets, 5025 48th Ave.; or ICI Paints, 1135 56th St. More information can be found at www.deltahospital.com or by calling 604-940 -9695. The winner will be drawn Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. at the Delta Hospital Foundation.
